Welcome to the Peña-Chavez Investment Club. We are a small family/friend oriented Investment Club located in the San Gabriel Valley area near Los Angeles, California. Our club was founded in February 2002 and is going strong we are happy to report!

PURPOSE

The purpose of our Investment Club is first and foremost to make money! While there are many other wonderful and legitimate reasons to form an investment club the paramount purpose must be to make money. There are numerous ways for us to attempt to do this however we are a conservative group of individuals who believe that a long term investment in reasonably priced growing companies is the best way for us to achieve long term wealth. Our time horizon is at a minimum 5 years however a company that we invest in will hopefully become a lifetime investment for our little group.

We invest only in individual stocks of publicly traded companies. Why stocks? Well history has shown that out of most asset classes (excluding fine art and other more exotic classes), including bonds, cash, gold, and real estate stocks as a whole tend to outperform all of these asset classes over the long term.

MEMBERS

Our current club membership totals 29 members. Our membership has grown steadily since our founding in 2002 and since we are primarily a family oriented club we hope that number continues to grow over the years as our member families grow.

Our members come from a variety of backgrounds and places including El Monte, California, Alta Loma, CA, La Puente, CA, Fontana, CA, Whittier, CA, and from far away places like Sacramento, CA and Memphis, Tennessee.
